Before its conclusion, the session did manage to see the passage of the Treasury Act and the Criminal Codes. Both bills will now move on to the Emperor and Prime Minister for signing into law. The Creation Charter for the Cross of Independence, was not discussed before the closing of the session and will thusly be moved to the 5th session, planned to be held some time in April.
Following the closing of the Senate session, Prime Minister Marx released the final ten flag redesign entries to the public. These flags were voted on by the Flag Redesign Committee and will now be sent through a referendum to be voted upon by the people. The winning design will have an amendment to the Constitution drafted around it. The Prime Minister hopes for the amendment to be passed by mid June or July at the latest.
