The agreement, called the Missouri Compact, places restrictions on the extension of land claims that either nation can perform in regards to the U.S. state of Missouri. The North American Confederation's Missouri Territory shall now be considered all lands north of the Missouri River, save for the county of Callaway, home of the ancestral Kingdom of Callaway and land considered of great cultural significance to the Delveran people.
Alongside the signing of the Compact, Prime Minister Marx released an speech entitled The Missouri Proclamation, which outlined his government's intentions in regards to foreign policy and intermicronational relations. The speech can be viewed here.
In other news, on the 1st of November it was decided by the Emperor and the Prime Minister to appoint Empress Alyssa von Hartmann-Peters to the position of Minister of Finance.
It is the responsibility of the Minister of Finance to advise the Prime Minister and Emperor on the nation's expenditures and enforce the various trade and other economic policies.
The Prime Minister's expressed full confidence in the Empress's ability to perform the task ahead of her.
