Given the unique opportunity the abdication of Emperor William I has provided the North American micronational community to forge a new identity for itself, Emperor Oscar I, in agreement with Viceroy Callahan and King Joseph I have worked with the Council of Junkers to create a fourth constitution for our great nation.
This fourth Constitution, also called the Oscarine Constitution, was ratified on the 1st of October 2020 and sees the North American Confederation reorganized into a new nation, a descendant of the micronational legacy of nearly a dozen micronations forged into a single collective identity.
The North American Confederation, with the permission and understanding of its people, has reorganized itself into the Occidian Empire.
The coming weeks and months will be a period of immense change as the nation grows into its new united cultural identity. A child of Karno-Ruthenia and the Grand Republic of Delvera, Emperor Oscar I will be joined in his efforts of governing with the help of a diarchy of Kings in the Empire.
King Joseph I has been a mainstay of the nation's well-being since the chaos and uncertainty of the Interregnum. First serving as Prime Minister, then being crowned as the Junior King in the Confederation, Joseph I will continue his tireless service to the Empire as a King in the Empire, no Junior nor Senior but equal.
The achievements of King Dylan I of the House of Callahan can scarcely even be listed here. A former Consul of the Grand Republic of Delvera, King Dylan led our parent nation to notoriety and distinction with the micronational community and has garnered a reputation of dutiful service and selfless devotion to his country. Agreeing to come on as Viceroy for the Senior Crown of the Confederation, following the abdication of Emperor William from both his position as Emperor and King, it was agreed by both King Joseph I and Emperor Oscar I that none would be better suited to be a King in the Empire than King Dylan I.
The Constitution of the Occidian Empire will be made available to the public in a few hours. It is the hope that this new Oscarine era for our nation's history will be the beginning of a Golden age not only for the Occidian Empire, but also the micronational community as a whole.
