Preamble of the Constitution
We, the People of the Occidian Empire, acknowledging the necessity of rational and ethical governance in order to promote the collective welfare of our society, do hereby resolve to establish for ourselves and our descendancy, a government grounded in the principle that all human beings, by the nature of their reason and conscience, are born free and equal in their dignity and rights.
That, for the development of civilization and the larger protection of mankind’s dignities, it becomes necessary for a collection of individuals to establish for themselves, a government - organized through the consent of the governed.
Under the principles that lead our government and society, we the representatives of the nation, in the Ninth Year since the declaration of our Union and the Thirteenth Year of our History, do agree to establish for ourselves, a Government, to ensure perpetual union between the households of the Empire.
Each household, acting in their sovereign and independent character, do hereby ordain and establish this Constitution for the Occidian Empire to lay out the structure and responsibilities of our government, protect the inalienable rights and dignity of our peoples, and to stand as physical proof of our commitment to the development of our society, our culture, the preservation of our national values and the greatness of our Nation.
