This session saw the passage of C.L. 007, the Immigration and Naturalization Act, and E.L. 001, the National Tourist Retailer Regulatory Bill. Both bills were passed with 2 ayes, and a single abstention in absentia.
The bills were forwarded to the Prime Minister, who passed both immediately, and moved them along to the Emperor, who will sign them by the end of the day. The bills will then go into effect 14 days from the Emperor's signature.
Two of the Prime Minister's nominations for his new cabinet were also approved. Effective at Midnight on the 17th of November, Ms. McCollum and Her Imperial Majesty, the Empress, will resume their roles from the first Marx cabinet of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, respectively.
The Criminal Code, drafted by Mr.Nichols-Kaufman, was once again pushed to the next session, to be held in late December. All Senators will agree to a date in late December to hold the session, which will then be announced to the public, alongside the delay limit on legislation acceptance.
